Pictures of the most recent 3D assignment. Not exactly a huge fan of the class, but I think the finished product turned out okay. Below that, some Paul Frank fanart. It’s the beloved Julius. I painted him in watercolours - wanted to go for a rustic, summertime feel. Julius has a lovely tan. Enjoy.
My site was down for maintenance for a good twelve hours yesterday so I wasn’t able to write. This post is a collection of some of my favourite life drawings from this school year. There’s a lot of progress and problem solving in these. Please see my other life drawing posts so I don’t have to post repeats. Please note - nothing from my animation portfolio is uploaded. Drawings are not in any order, and range from thirty seconds to five minutes. Enjoy.
Just a little sketch I came up with today during a lecture class. Cute, no? Enjoy.
That’s right. My only notebook, and the same of three years, has more sketches than information found in it. Here’s a few sketches from today’s English lecture. All in ballpoint pen. Enjoy. Quick edit - I’ve added two new sketches from today’s class.
A painting from today’s class. Prof asked us to paint with washy layers. You can still see the red pencil underneath. The second is a doodle from my business lecture. Sketched my prof. Enjoy.
Just a quick sketch of Mike from today in my Philosophy of Religion class. Enjoy.
Miss Badu. Water colour pencils & ink. Enjoy. A quick edit - I was fooling around with the drawing in Photoshop. Added some easy filters (’cause I’m not quite sure when it comes to PS & not a huge fan of computer “art”). Anyway, try and enjoy.
Two sketches from a sketch book I have sitting on my desk. The first is a sketch of Mike, the second a concept for a lamp I have to transform into a giraffe for my 3D class. Mike’s in pen, giraffe’s in coloured pencils & ink. Enjoy. One quick note - I hope to post some funky art soon. My inspiration is Miss Badu’s new album, New Amerykah. It’s working wonders.
