About Lauren
My name is Lauren Partington and I’ve been drawing since I could pick up a pencil (or possibly crayon). By the age of six I knew I wanted to be an animator, and at nine decided Sheridan’s Animation program was exactly what I wanted to study.
I was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario but now reside in the Greater Toronto Area to pursue my post-secondary studies at Sheridan College.
I am a second year student in the Bachelor of Applied Arts (Animation) program at Sheridan College.
In April 2008, I graduated with a diploma from Sheridan’s Visual and Creative Arts program and a certificate from Art Fundamentals in April 2007.
I hope to have a successful career as an animator and/or story artist. Illustrating comic books and fashion design highly interest me as well.
I am a dual citizen of both Canada and the United States and wouldn’t have a problem relocating to the U.S. for work.
This site will someday have a formal portfolio featuring my work, but until then it serves as my college blog. It mostly consists of my thinking process and sketch book nonsense. Enjoy, and feel free to comment or contact me: lauren.partington@sheridanc.on.ca.
