I should win a gold medal in procrastination. Seriously.
Below is my seaweed and page turn animations. I did them both in one sitting, the night before they were due :D I should probably spend more time on them, d’oh.
I’m content with the seaweed but the page turn is a monstrosity. The book was supposed to be drawn in two-point perspective, but I free handed it. Mistake, mistake, mistake. All on account of procrastination and laziness. Bad.
I promise to spend more time on my animations. Enjoy?
Oh, and Happy Halloween!
Here are my four animations from the first assignment. A rubber ball, bowling ball, balloon, and finally a pendulum. I’m content with the rubber and bowling balls, but the balloon was rushed (animated in one quick sitting) and the pendulum was shot on a crappy camera (too light!). Next time I won’t make these same mistakes. Enjoy.
Here’s my first assignment from my storyboarding class. I procrastinated (^___^) and left the ‘boards until 1 AM the night before. And I still got an “A” on the assignment. In six panels we had to visually explain a typical morning before and arriving at school. I would have liked to have spent more time on these boards, but time management hates me. Enjoy.
How four weeks of animation have already gone by is beyond me. Time. What a bummer. Below is a bunch of art I’ve been working on in class and some art I’ve been doing on the side. There’s a lot of work I will post sooner rather than later. Enjoy.
The title pretty much says it all. It’s a pencil test of a rubber ball bouncing through a room. Notice that stretch and squash. Enjoy.
